# Browser extensions

Last updated October 2026

We are waiting on approvals from the browser stores.

That is why the extensions are not available to install yet. Each card below turns into an install link the day its store approves it.

Scan the site you are on without leaving it. Click the Readiness Index icon in your toolbar and the result opens in a new tab beside the page you were reading.

## What it does

One click runs the free Primary Indicators scan: 13 tests, one page, no account. You get the score and the fixes that matter most, on the same result page as a scan you start from the [home page](https://readinessindex.io/). If you want the whole site, the full scan is a sign-in away.

## What it sends

The hostname of the page you clicked on, such as `www.example.com`, and nothing else. It never sends the path, the query string, the page itself or your browsing history. It reads nothing until you click, asks for one permission (`activeTab`, which the click grants for that one tab) and stores nothing on your device. The [privacy policy](https://readinessindex.io/privacy) says the same thing in more words.

## Browsers

We build one extension for each browser below. We are not in the stores yet, and we would rather tell you that than leave you hunting for a link. When a listing goes live, its card turns into an install link.

- Chrome Chrome on desktop Coming soon
- Edge Microsoft Edge on desktop Coming soon
- Firefox Firefox on desktop and Android Coming soon
- Safari Safari on Mac Coming soon
- Opera Opera on desktop Coming soon

Brave, Vivaldi and Arc install from the Chrome listing, so they arrive with it.
