Use the Readiness Index from your AI assistant

Questions: hello@readinessindex.io.

You already ask an AI assistant to help with your work. Now it can answer questions about your sites too. Ask it how a site scored, what to fix first, and who on your team usually does the fixing. It reads your own account, the same one you see here, and nothing else.

What it can do

Reading is the easy part. Your assistant can list your sites, summarize a scan, find the next three fixes, compare a site with its peers in the census, and hand a developer a prompt ready to paste. If you work in an organization, it can also add a client or a site, set the pages that matter most, and start a scan. Every one of those is something you could do on the dashboard. It never does more than you can.

What it will not do

It can’t change your billing, your members, or your plan. It can’t delete a client that has had a scan. When you ask it to remove something, it archives it, and you can bring it back. Starting a scan spends pages from your plan, and your assistant says so before it does.

Connect it

Your server address is the one on your profile page. Sign in once from your assistant, with the same login you use here.

  • Claude: open Settings, then Connectors, add a custom connector, paste the address, and sign in when it asks.
  • Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http air https://readinessindex.io/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
  • Cursor: add the address to your mcp.json and sign in when prompted.

Something that can’t sign in, like a script, can use an API key instead. Make one on your profile page. We show it once, so copy it right away. Give it read-only access unless it truly needs to change things.

Be careful with what it reads

Your assistant reads text from the sites we scan, and anyone can write anything on a web page. We mark that text so your assistant treats it as information, not as an instruction. That helps, but it can’t make the risk zero. So keep the access small: use a read-only key when you can, and revoke a key the day you stop using it. Your profile page lists everything your assistants did on your behalf, so you can check.

What it costs

MCP access is $25 a month, on any plan or none. You can cancel whenever you like, and it runs until the end of the period you paid for. We’ll tell you before the price ever changes.

If something goes wrong

If it says the add-on isn’t enabled, your account doesn’t have MCP access yet. If it asks you to sign in once, open the website and sign in there first. If it says you’re going too fast, wait a minute. Still stuck? Write to us and tell us what it said.
